The Vulture Has Landed

if you ever catch a vulture
eyeing you with interest,
and you're lying on the ground,
and you're having trouble moving,
then you're probably going to get to know him
a whole lot more intimately than you'd like.

Over the past month or so, I've fought for blocks of time to paint just for myself.  Some days I only could find 15 minutes, but I used those mini-sessions wisely.   There is something deep inside that NEEDS me to paint.  My wish is for everyone to figure out what makes them happy to the core and go do it.  Being too busy or tired won't work as an excuse.  We are only kicking around here for a short time.  Do what you love.  (Thanks to Mark for the poem.)
